About Anthony W. Nunnally
Born in New Jersey, Anthony moved to Florida over 20 years ago and has been a proud resident of the Tampa Bay Area since 2009. In 2015, he made St. Petersburg, Florida, his home and the base for his thriving legal career. From a young age, Anthony demonstrated a strong interest in criminal law, which inspired his pursuit of a criminology degree at the University of South Florida.
While at USF, Anthony honed his leadership skills through involvement in organizations such as Kappa Sigma Fraternity, where he served as chapter president. His dedication to service and community laid the foundation for his legal career.
Education and Legal Experience
Anthony earned his Juris Doctor (J.D.) from Stetson University College of Law in 2018, one of the top law schools in the country for trial advocacy. While at Stetson, Anthony was deeply involved in student organizations, serving as a Student Bar Association Representative, Secretary of the Second Amendment Society, and Chief Ambassador.
His hands-on legal experience began during law school with internships and clerkships, including a position at a prominent criminal defense firm in St. Petersburg. Anthony gained courtroom experience through certified legal internships, where he actively participated in trials and motion hearings.
After law school, Anthony worked as an Assistant Public Defender for Pinellas County, handling thousands of cases, ranging from misdemeanors to complex felonies.
